I have been doing needlework and crafts as long as I can remember - I still remember getting pop beads as a small child, making and remaking bracelets and necklaces. Art class was my safe haven in high school. That's where my formal art training ended, but my need to express my creativity keeps driving me forward.
My current beadworks are inspired by Native American designs, world cultures and nature. I am working on both structural and wearable pieces, using felt and a variety of stitches to give even more dimension to my bead embroidery.
